USS DES MOINES ASSOCIATION OBJECTIVES
The following words provided by the USS SAINT PAUL Organization.
The objectives of the association are fraternal, patriotic, and historical: to preserve and strengthen comradeship among its members; to perpetuate the memory and history of its deceased comrades, and to provide social and recreational activities for its members.
The regular members of the association are members and former members of the Armed Services and their families who served on board the USS Des Moines CA-134 or staffs embarked in this ship.
