Reunion Information

MEMBERS AND PROSPECTIVE MEMBERS

WELCOME ABOARD!

The USS Des Moines Reunion Association holds their reunion the first weekend in August of every year.  It is held at the farm of Paul overly in Mercer, Pennsylvania.  it is a casual affair, and spouses are welcome.

The activities officially begin with Friday morning breakfast and runs through Sunday morning breakfast.  The price of admission includes breakfast, lunch and supper on Friday and Saturday and breakfast on Sunday.  The coffee pot, beer, and soft drinks are on tap all day.  By the time you arrive on Friday morning the picnic tables are set up and everything is ready to go.  All you need to do is register, pay your money (if you haven't already sent it to Jim) and have fun.  Friday and Saturday night finds us dancing under the stars to a disc jockey supplying the music.  At 10:00 p.m. on Saturday night the grand finale is a fireworks display equal to none you've ever seen.

The members have their annual meeting on Saturday afternoon.
